Storage controls

Program path: System → System & Storage

  1. Choose Local, Cloud or Hybrid storage according to the connected storage available to the computer.
  2. Set the combined DCP allocation and keep a free-space reserve for the operating system and other applications.
  3. Review category limits for Restore Points, Source Snapshots, Full Site Backups, Screenshots / Visual Baselines, Logs / Repair Reports, Repair Packages and Temporary Working Space.
  4. Set retention so old protection data does not grow forever.

Use a preset, then adjust

Built-in presets are intended as starting points. Site size, screenshot frequency, backup history and repair activity determine the real requirement. A hosting workstation will usually need more space than a small home portfolio.

Success looks like: DCP shows enough reserved space for restore protection without consuming the entire data drive, and each storage category has a deliberate limit/retention policy.

Server Intelligence

Program path: Site Repair Center → Server Intelligence

When WHM/cPanel supplies account and path information, DCP uses that connected data instead of guessing from the public website. Exact account membership and document-root evidence are especially important before direct Site Repair.
