Website Admin Site Updates

Website Admin → Site Update remains the manual recovery/bootstrap route. It creates a rollback backup, protects server-local configuration and can restore a recent update.

Once the deployment endpoint is installed, authorized application releases can use the scoped deployment API.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to Website Admin and open Site Update.
  2. Upload the current DomainCommandPost-Website-Update ZIP when a manual bootstrap or recovery deployment is required.
  3. Confirm the update manifest/version and apply it.
  4. Verify /api/v1/site/version.php reports the expected release.
  5. Create a site.update scoped API token under Website Admin → System if application-side deployment will be used.
  6. If deployment fails after writing files, use the Site Update backup list to restore the previous package.
