Go from verified installer to a useful first dashboard.

Install the matching edition, register its workspace, verify the signed license and read the first monitoring evidence.

Before you start

  • A verified customer account
  • The installer and product key for the same edition
  • Internet access for first activation
  • At least one domain you own or manage

1. Verify the installer

Website path: My Account → Downloads

  1. Read the complete edition name; edition keys and installers are not interchangeable.
  2. Compare file name, version, size and SHA-256.
  3. Run the installer. Install Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime if Windows requests it.
  4. Confirm the Windows title bar, taskbar icon and first screen name the expected edition.

2. Register and activate

Program path: Activation → Register this computer

  1. Paste the full product key, including DCP.
  2. Name the computer clearly.
  3. Primary editions create and store a stable workspace UUID. Keep it when restoring or updating the same workspace.
  4. Select Activate and wait for online validation.
  5. Confirm edition, add-ons, certificate key ID and signed expiration.
Monitor-Only uses a different path. Use the controlling Home, Pro, Business, Custom, or Developer product key plus the one-time pairing code issued for that exact Primary workspace. Monitor-Only does not receive a separate product key. See Monitor-Only / Computer Sync.

3. Add the first owned domain

Program path: Domains → My Domains → Add Domain

  1. Enter only the domain, such as example.com.
  2. Choose owned, client, watched, wanted or formerly owned. Acquisition candidates belong in Watchlist.
  3. Add project, customer or notes if helpful and save.

4. Run and read the first checks

Program path: Overview → Dashboard → Run Checks

  1. Keep the app open until activity finishes.
  2. Open the domain and review registration, website/HTTP, SSL and DNS separately.
  3. Select the health score to read every deduction and source time.
  4. Open Visual Monitoring and confirm the current captured page or explicit failure reason.
Success looks like: each completed check has a time, warnings name their evidence, and the dashboard total includes the new domain.

Activation recovery

Wrong editionDownload the installer listed beside that exact key.
Activation limitMy Account → Devices → deactivate an old computer.
Workspace identity conflictDo not copy another installation’s workspace ID. Restore the stable ID for this installation or allow a new one.
Pairing code requiredUse the one-time code generated by the controlling Primary workspace. The companion consumes one available Monitor-Only seat.
Signing not configuredAn administrator must install PHP Sodium and initialize the signing key under System & API.
